Tom Danilek

Tom Danilek is a Partner at Rise of the Rest’s Real Estate Initiative. From 1989 to 2017, Tom was a Senior Managing Director at Hines, where he sourced and executed Hines’ investment activities in the Midwest and Southeast U.S., as well as Canada. In this role, Tom invested in more than 15M square feet of commercial real estate representing over $3B in gross value. Tom has extensive experience in architecture, leasing, marketing, asset management, operations, finance, and capital raising.

Tom received a B.S. in mechanical engineering from the University of Michigan in 1985 and earned his MBA in finance from Columbia University in 1989. He is based in Chicago.
