EXPERIENCE
James Barlia is a Vice President at Revolution’s Rise of the Rest Seed Fund, where he focuses on sourcing, performing due diligence, and supporting portfolio companies. He joined the firm in 2020.
Prior to joining Revolution, James was a Senior Analyst at Greenspring Associates, a venture capital firm in Owings Mills, MD. At Greenspring, James was responsible for sourcing and due diligence efforts on direct, fund, and secondary investment opportunities and specialized in expansion-stage direct investing and emerging and impact manager investing.
James graduated from Tulane University with a B.S. in management from the A.B. Freeman School of Business. He was born and raised in Washington, D.C.
