Washington, D.C. – February 11, 2019 – Today, Revolution, the Washington, D.C.-based investment firm led by Steve Case, announced the promotion of three Revolution Growth team members, Patrick Conroy, Kristin Gunther, and Chris Hughes to Principals.

Patrick Conroy joined the firm in 2014 from Morgan Stanley where he was on the Technology Investment Banking and Global Capital Markets teams. In his role at Revolution, he focuses on sourcing investments and working with companies in consumer internet, enterprise SaaS, and sports technology verticals. Patrick is a Board Observer at BigCommerce, CAVA, and two of Revolution Growth’s newest investments, CLEAR and Convene. He also supports the firm’s investments in Sportradar and DraftKings.
After spending over 10 years in finance, Kristin Gunther joined the firm in 2015 from Perseus LLC, where she worked closely with management teams on strategy and finance and sat on the board of two large consumer businesses. In her current role, she advises management of existing portfolio companies on a range of matters and focuses on sourcing new investments in the consumer space, including food, commerce, healthcare, and gaming. She is a Board Observer at Revolution Foods and Scopely and worked on the exits of FedBid, Handy, and Lolly Wolly Doddle.
Chris Hughes joined the firm in 2015 from the Boston Consulting Group (BCG) where he was a project leader in the consumer practice. In his role, he focuses on sourcing and supporting Revolution’s investments in fintech, AI and machine learning, and retail. He is a Board Observer at Tala, Interactions, and Bedrock Manufacturing, and supports Revolution’s investments in Sweetgreen, KLDiscovery, and Echo 360.
In addition to these promotions, Revolution Growth recently announced investments in CLEAR, the secure identity company using biometrics to build a frictionless and secure world and TemperPack, the leader in sustainable thermal packaging solutions.
