Mahati Sridhar

Partner, Rise of the Rest

Mahati is a Partner at Revolution’s Rise of the Rest Seed Fund. She joined the firm in 2021 and focuses on sourcing, due diligence, and supporting existing portfolio companies.

Prior to joining Revolution, Mahati was an Associate at Bull City Venture Partners, a Durham-based venture capital fund where she worked on seed and series A software and internet investments in the Southeast and Mid-Atlantic. Mahati is also a Venture for America Fellow and served her fellowship in Charlotte, NC, where she helped launch CFV Ventures, an early-stage fintech-focused venture fund. She started her career in Investment Banking at SunTrust Robinson Humphrey, where she worked on the healthcare coverage team.

Mahati received a B.S.B.A. from UNC-Chapel Hill and an MBA from Columbia Business School. She is originally from and currently resides in Raleigh, NC.
  1. My First Job: Gymnastics Instructor + Summer Camp Counselor—I loved working with the kiddos and helping them (safely) defy gravity.‍
  2. Road Trip Destination:  Crazy enough, I have yet to make it to PNW with Rise of the Rest! I would love to explore Oregon and Washington, especially into the parks and greenery. ‍
  3. Online, you’ll find me: On Beli or Resy, grabbing a reservation at the new place in town. ‍
  4. Offline, you’ll find me: On a walk with my dog, trying to keep my vegetable garden alive, scavenging in an art or antique market.
