John Delaney

John Delaney is a Senior Advisor at Revolution. As the former Chief Executive Officer of two publicly traded companies, John has demonstrated significant success as an entrepreneur, manager, and industry leader. John founded and led two New York Stock Exchange-listed companies before the age of 40, and his companies significantly outperformed their peers in terms of total shareholder return.

In addition to his business experience, John has deep public policy experience, having represented Maryland in the U.S. House of Representatives for six years. In Congress John was known for bipartisan solutions and was a member of the Financial Services, Joint Economic, and Steering and Policy Committees, and also served as Co-President of his freshman class. In 2017, John was named one of the World’s 50 Greatest Leaders according to Fortune Magazine. In 2019, John stepped down from Congress to pursue a run for the Democratic nomination for President of the United States.  He currently serves as Founder and Executive Chairman of Forbright Bank.
