Accelerate Brain Cancer Cure (ABC2) is a non-profit organization with a for-profit mindset and a singular focus: to hasten the discovery of a brain cancer cure.
Upon being diagnosed with brain cancer, Dan Case was discouraged by the lack of information and limited treatment options. He devoted his energy and passion to working to accelerate a cure for brain cancer. Dan enrolled the help of his brother, Steve Case, their families, leading entrepreneurs, scientists and researchers, and together they founded Accelerate Brain Cancer Cure.
The founders of ABC2 believe that the entrepreneurial model responsible for so many technological innovations offers the best hope to speed the development of potential therapies and move them rapidly into the clinic for patients. ABC2 takes an innovative, results-oriented approach to giving researchers the active support they need to make critical breakthroughs and helps fund outstanding and novel translational brain cancer research to discover a cure.
To date, ABC2 has awarded multiple grants to world-renowned brain cancer researchers and created novel partnerships and collaborations among doctors, academics, business executives, and government researchers.
