This patient-centered philosophy stems partly from Steve Case's own personal experiences with the health care system. When his brother Dan Case was diagnosed with a brain tumor, Steve experienced first-hand the frustration, delay and powerlessness that so many patients and their families feel. He vowed to do something to make health care simpler and more user-friendly.
The cornerstone of the company is RevolutionHealth.com, a free, innovative online resource designed for people to be able to visit not just when they are feeling sick, but to visit frequently to stay healthy and to live a healthy lifestyle. Everything found on RevolutionHealth.com has been designed around the goal of empowering people by putting them at the center of their own personal health.
Revolution Health continues to grow to meet consumers’ needs. The company has three primary business units - Revolution Health Network; CarePages; and Revolution Health Employer Solutions – and two key affiliates - Extend Health; and RediClinic.
